Donald Miller FYI

This is at the Handlebar....

Bestselling author and speaker brings heartfelt ministry to special Sunday event

In response to the ministry’s popularity, Engage brings New York Times bestselling author and speaker Donald Miller to a special Sunday event. Donald has written four books and arrives in Greenville to herald the publication of his next, A Million Miles In A Thousand Years, an appropriate title considering that he left home in Houston, Texas, at age 21 and kept going until he ran out of money in Portland, Ore. That’s where he lives now, but he’s on the road a lot. A much sought-after speaker, Donald has delivered lectures to the Women of Faith Conference, the Veritas Forum at Harvard and Cal Poly and the closing prayer at the Democratic National Convention. He’s also founder of the no-for-profit Belmont Foundation, which works to recruit mentors for churches in response to the crisis of fatherlessness in America. Harvest House Publishers released his first book, Prayer and the Art of Volkswagen Maintenance, in 2008, and two years later, his Blue Like Jazz became a Times bestseller.

The Short

Hey, by the request of Marie, I have uploaded the short Brian and I made for the dcf film festival. I didnt have time to re-edit it so it hasnt been touched since we spent 10 or so hours editing it right before the festival. My advice is to let it load all the way before watching it.

Also, I just wanted to post a song I have been listening to today and yesterday that I think is really great right now. It is a Beatles cover. http://www.imeem.com/people/ikiJ_y1/music/vaHq50cf/slow-runner-ive-just-seen-a-face/

500 Impressions in 2 Minutes

For those of you that went to Ten out of Tenn, this is the video I was talking about at Denny's.

Even if you didn't make it out to the show tonight, I think you will all be able to appreciate this impressive feat:

on a scale of 10 out of 10 how do you feel?

Hey everyone...Really hoping you guys are having a great time and hope to be part of future events. Thinking about everyone, and a friend just sent me this song. Knowing you guys, you could probably tell me the hospital the person was born in already, but in case you haven't heard it or seen the video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI4JLa0hbUw . i enjoyed it. Basically if you like the postal service, you'll potentially like this, or be offended that he sounds really alike. . . as i said, i enjoyed it. hope you guys are having a great night. I really look forward to hanging out in the future
